What the app accesses

Clipboard contents. To show you a history of your clips, ClipKeyboard reads the system pasteboard — the text or image you last copied. It does this only when the keyboard becomes visible, or when the ClipKeyboard app is open in the foreground. iOS shows a notification each time an app reads the clipboard, so you can always see when it happens. You can turn off Auto-capture on open in the app to capture only when you tap the capture button.

“Allow Full Access.” iOS requires this permission for any keyboard that reads the clipboard and keeps a history shared between the keyboard and its companion app. ClipKeyboard uses Full Access solely for that — to read your copied content and save it locally. It does not use Full Access to send anything over the network. ClipKeyboard makes no network connections at all.

Where your data is stored

Your clipboard history — including any images you copy — is stored only in a private container on your device, shared between the app and the keyboard. It is never uploaded anywhere. Deleting a clip removes it from your device; deleting the app removes all stored history.

What we do not do

• We do not collect personal information.
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind.
• We do not transmit your keystrokes, clipboard, or history off your device.
• We do not share data with third parties — because we never receive any.

Children’s privacy

ClipKeyboard does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date above will change. Material changes will also be reflected in the app’s App Store listing.
